Sahiwal Bible College, Pakistan

Pakistan has 216 million people, with only 1.2% of the citizens identifying as Christian. The Sahiwal Bible College is a World Bible Institute extension program in east Pakistan.  Naeem Sabir is the director of the school. No American missionaries have traveled to Pakistan since 2010. 

The Sahiwal Church of Christ is an established congregation with 180 members. There are an estimated 36 churches of Christ and 4,500 members of the Lord’s church in Pakistan. The Sahiwal Bible College meets twice a week for classes for three years. WBI teachers have also taught lessons via live video with translations into Urdu. The Sahiwal Bible College has graduated 44 students before closing the doors in 2017. WBI was grateful for the opportunity to partner with brother Naeem and revitalize the program in 2021.
