Komarolu School of Preaching, India 

In 2020, the Komarolu School of Preaching in the Andhra Pradesh region of India became a World Bible Institute extension program. Jeremiah Vankayalaptati is the director of the school. Brandon Ferguson is the WBI stateside coordinator. India comprises 1.3 billion people, with only 2.3% of the population identifying as Christian. 

Twenty-seven students are meeting every Friday and Saturday for classes. There are plans to establish three more preaching training schools around the region once resources are available.  The program graduated 124 students between 1994 – 2004. In 2004, the full-time program lost funding and ceased meeting. WBI was grateful for the opportunity to partner with brother Jeremiah and revitalize this sound and needed program.
